Sara Ramirez
Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico and is an American-Mexican actor. She also sings. Her mother was her primary caregiver in the USA and she was subject to many racial taunts that made her feel like someone who was not wanted. She began to gain confidence in the ninth grade after she took part in a school audition. She received a lot of praise for her singing. Not only did it boost her confidence, but also her goals were changed. In 1992, she received her master's degree from the city's Julliard School. In the year 23 she began her career making her debut on Broadway with Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films featuring You've Got Mail. In the Broadway original production of Spamalot she portrayed the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as high praise from critics. Following that she was cast in the role of Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her becoming more famous. Also, she is a well-known singer and has released an extended play. Additionally, she works as an LGBT activist.
