Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik in Iceland. She is also a coach as well as trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik. Annie is the only woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. She placed second in the both the 2010 and 2014 CrossFit Games. The first time she competed, she was very successful and placed in Top 10 out of 70. The team was unable to claim any titles but ended up in 11th place in the final ranking. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's direction. The following year, she again participated in the CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the competition as the very first woman to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie, who had an outstanding 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the first woman in history to be crowned the winner of the two CrossFit Games. Also, in 2014, she received a Silver medal as well as, more recently, in 2021 she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie has been coaching and training at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was created by Annie. Annie, who is gaining recognition for her athletic skills, is featured in ads for athletic products, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Nuun Hydration sidekick Yerbae Renaissance Periodization Transparent Labs as well as many more.
