Lisa Olivia Munn grew up in Oklahoma City. The mother of her child, Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam and has Chinese ancestry, while the father of her, Winston Barrett Munn, comes from a family that has long-standing roots within The American South. Her parents divorced when she was age two. Her family consisted of her mother, who worked in the United States Air Force, and also her stepfather. The family left Oklahoma and moved to different locations, however she spent the bulk of her life in Tokyo. In this period, Olivia appeared in several local stage productions. Later she became an Japanese model. Olivia moved to Los Angeles when her family had returned to her home in the United States to follow her ambition to become an actor. After a few minor roles on TV series that featured Hawaii lenses (such such as Beyond the Break), she won the role Mily Acuna, and was offered the job of Rob Schneider's receptionist in Big Stan. She is the host of "The Daily Nut", "Formula D", and "The Formula D Podcasts" on G4. Since the 2006 television show Beyond the Break, she continues to browse. Also, she has a blackbelt in Taekwondo. When she was two years old, her mother got married again but this time to a member in the US Air Force.
